We are a chapter of Babywearing International, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote babywearing as a universally accepted practice, with benefits for both child and caregiver, through education and support. Specifically, our goal is to help parents and caregivers learn about different types of baby carriers and how to use them safely and comfortably. We can offer hands-on demonstrations, help with your own carriers, and have a large carrier Lending Library. We don’t sell carriers, but we can help point you in the right direction if you’re looking to buy.
Our meetings are held every 2nd Monday of the month at 10:30am and every 4th Monday of the month at 6:00pm in State College, PA at the Patton Township Municipal Building. If you’d like some help, or even if you’re an experienced parent who wants to hang out with a fun bunch of local parents and share what you know, please join us! Meetings are free & ALL are welcome to attend (dads, grandparents, nannies, expecting parents, etc.) & older siblings are welcome, as well. Feel free to send us an email, too! We look forward to meeting you!
